Established in 1987, Thomastown Veterinary Clinic is a second generation family run practice located in County Kilkenny. As Kilkenny’s only 100% companion animal practice, we focus on providing the most advanced modern medicine and surgery for the pets entrusted to our care. Our success lies in the expertise and skills of our dedicated and committed team of Veterinary Surgeons, Nurses and support staff. It is our privilege to have our family look after yours.

Thomastown Vets are a Gold accredited Cat Friendly Clinic. Cat Friendly Clinic is a worldwide programme from the International Society of Feline Medicine, the veterinary division of the charity International Cat Care. This programme recognises that because of their unique nature and needs, taking cats to visit a veterinary clinic can be very stressful, both for cats and owners.

Kilkenny Vets

At Thomastown Veterinary Clinic we have developed a busy small animal practice over the years. Our growing interest and demand in this area resulted in us moving into our state of the art purpose built veterinary hospital in 2010. We continue to invest in upgrading and updating our skills and equipment.

Grooming

We have a dedicated grooming parlour where we provide our expert dog grooming services which are tailored to meet your dog’s individual needs and requirements. We offer a professional grooming, washing and clipping service for your dog. Our purpose-built grooming parlour allows us to provide a peaceful and safe environment for your pet.
